Animal Alliance of Galveston County is a non-profit spay neuter and wellness clinic serving Galveston County and surrounding areas. We are located conveniently between Galveston and Houston, Texas. We have both the city life and the beach within a 30 minute commute. We provide low cost veterinary services to the public, rescue groups and shelters.
We are currently searching for a veterinarian to join our 4 doctor team. Our goal is to find someone who has a strong interest in animal welfare and reducing overpopulation through spay and neuter. We feel that all pets deserve high-quality veterinary care and we offer an affordable option that is accessible to all pet owners.
Simultaneously, we offer a great work-life balance. We do not hospitalize or board patients so after hours medical care is not required. Work week is four days. The clinic closes at 5 pm and it is extremely rare for our veterinarians to stay after 5 pm. Staff morale is high and our turnover is very low. We also have a high staff-to-doctor ratio which allows us to operate efficiently and smoothly. Animal Alliance of Galveston County is a clinic and not a shelter or adoption agency.
