Emergency Veterinarians Needed for growing Practice in Upstate New York. The Southern Tier of New York is in need of emergency veterinary care. This area does not offer any 24 hour care and I would like to change this. The animals and clients of this area deserve this care. The need is here....
A new 11,000 sq ft facility will be finished in January February of 2018. We will continue to offer ICU with oxygen and temperature control set up, ultrasound, digital xray with radiology readings from board certified radiologists, complete anesthesia monitoring including 3 and 5 lead EKG monitoring, in house blood work as well as Istat use, nebulizers, IV pumps and electronic medical records. Sevo is the current anesthetic. We will be adding a respirator, more heat controlled cages, incubators and capnography to provide you with more needed equipment for emergency situations. Our repertoire of medicines and drugs is great and can be expanded if need arises.
The Southern Tier has a lot to offer for family and single life. We have two semi pro athletic teams- baseball and hockey; music, theater, shopping and many parks for hiking, dog walking, running and child's play. The schools are tremendous as well. The area has Binghamton University (a top liberal arts university) and SUNY Broome. We are only three hours from "The City" and 1 hour from Syracuse. Consider life here...it is good!
We are serious about this need being met and are looking for those veterinarians that are interested in emergency medicine to fulfill the need.
Pay commensurate with experience. Paid time off, dues, continuing ed, health insurance, etc. included
