Orange County Animal Services, located in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a part-time veterinarian 1-3 days per week. The position will mostly be performing spay/neuter (including pediatric s/n), but may also serve as a back-up consulting veterinarian on occasion. Surgery suite is fully equipped and veterinarian will be assisted by a team of trained support staff.
Hours will vary between 5 and 20 weekly, and average around 30-40 per 4-week period. Must have current NC license to practice veterinary medicine. The ideal candidate will have experience performing high-volume spay/neuter surgeries and pediatric spay/neuter surgeries.
