Southern Oregon Veterinary Specialty Center is searching for friendly, career minded Certified Veterinary Technicians to join our professional emergency and specialty animal care team in the beautiful Rogue Valley.

We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualities:
Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Oregon.
Has successfully completed and graduated from an accredited veterinary technician program OR has grandfathered in and successfully challenged the VTNE to obtain credentialed status.
Displays competency in the general knowledge and nursing skills required to care for critically ill patients.
Is empathetic and can provide compassionate care to patients and clients. Enjoys teaching and learning; has a desire to share knowledge with peers and is open to learning from others.
A passion for dogs and cats.
Enjoys a team environment and working collaboratively.
Takes personal responsibility and displays integrity.
Is able to bend, kneel, stoop, and stand for long periods of time; can individually and frequently lift patients up to 40 pounds.
Experience in critical care, emergency, or specialty veterinary medicine is a plus. However, we are willing to train the right person and will consider a new graduate.

SOVSC is a specialty and emergency hospital serving the communities of Southern Oregon and Northern California. We assist clients and patients 24/7, 365 days.
