Wayside Animal Hospital is an established and growing small animal practice seeking another Associate Veterinarian to join our team. We are looking for an experienced, caring and personable individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well both alone and as part of the medical team. Our hospital is a well-equipped facility, with Avimark software, digital medical records, digital and dental radiography, dental drill and ultrasonic cleaner, in-house diagnostics, tonopen, ultra-sound, and spacious surgery suite equipped with new surgery and anesthesia monitoring equipment. We are offering a flexible work schedule with only 35-38 hours per week and no after-hours emergencies or on-call work. We have a great working relationship with a nearby regional center to refer/consult with a board-certified surgeon and a board-certified ER/Critical care specialist on major medical cases as needed. We are offering a sign on bonus that will commensurate with experience and with full or part time status, between $2,500-$5,000. Wayside Animal Hospital is located in Jasper, Georgia, with 2 locations in the beautiful north Georgia mountains. Our geographic area offers a wide variety of cultural, sporting, and outdoor activities in our friendly and safe community. These include hiking trails, mountain and road biking, white-water rafting, kayaking, boating and fishing on nearby lakes and rivers. The area also has good schools, and a local but diverse scene of art, music, theater, and dining. For big city exposure, we are only 20 minutes from the city life of metro-Atlanta, Georgia and about one hour from Chattanooga, Tennessee.
