This position will require the veterinarian to conduct spaying and neutering and wellness care for residents that live in underserved neighborhoods in Corpus Christi. Our current veterinarians are willing to train new graduates in high volume spaying/neutering and wellness clinics. Applicant must have desire to keep pets with their owners and out of shelters to decrease the pet overpopulation and also decrease euthanasia. Applicants that love the beach, will find Corpus Christi is a great place to live. We have beautiful beaches and you get to live the big city life without the big city traffic. With a population of almost 400,000 residents, Corpus is an ideal location to relax and enjoy our laid back atmosphere in our close knit community.
The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, high-volume medical care for dogs and cats belonging to residents that reside in an underserved area. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Current TX license required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required. Work days will be Monday - Friday and some Saturdays.

PAAC is a high volume spay/neuter clinic and a wellness clinic. Our focus is helping the underserved community residents keep their pets to keep them out of shelters and avoid euthanasia. We work very closely with the City of Corpus Christi Animal Care Services municipal shelter to constantly work on decreasing our overpopulation problem. We have an outreach team that goes into the community to he...lp residents in need with FREE spays/neuters. Our goal is to hire a veterinarian to help us go into the areas most in need and help the pets in the area along with their owners.
