This position will require the veterinarian to conduct spaying and neutering and wellness care for residents that live in underserved neighborhoods in Corpus Christi. Our current veterinarians are willing to train new graduates in high volume spaying/neutering and wellness clinics. Applicant must have desire to keep pets with their owners and out of shelters to decrease the pet overpopulation and also decrease euthanasia. Applicants that love the beach, will find Corpus Christi is a great place to live. We have beautiful beaches and you get to live the big city life without the big city traffic. With a population of almost 400,000 residents, Corpus is an ideal location to relax and enjoy our laid back atmosphere in our close knit community.
The candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, high-volume medical care for dogs and cats belonging to residents that reside in an underserved area. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Current TX license required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required. Work days will be Monday - Friday and some Saturdays.

Community outreach, basic pet supplies, pet food, and education on animal care.
