With a strong emphasis on laser technologies, the Ultrasound Guided Endoscopic Diode Laser Ablation (UGELAB) procedure was developed at RVH (See JAVMA, Vol. 240, 1/1/12). All of the latest equipment is provided to practice exemplary medicine, surgery, and patient safety. Extensive in house training for all non veterinarian staff members is mandatory. A strong emphasis is placed on continuing education, client education, and strengthening the doctor/client/pet bond. Advanced technologies such as the DIA Education Video system and Welch Allen video otoscopes are used to enhance the client education experience. Doctors are encouraged to develop new skills such as ultrasound using the latest equipment available.
