We are looking to fill two positions! One primarily equine and one primarily dairy. We are a large animal veterinary practice in central Pennsylvania. We have three veterinarians now are are looking both to focus on equine and meet growing client demand in the dairy business. Our practice is mostly dairy with a growing equine business. Our equine business covers a broad range of services, from annual health exams to AI and semen collection and lameness. So we are looking for a veterinarian with a strong interest (and hopefully experience) in equine reproduction, lameness and wellness. Also we are looking for a veterinarian with a dairy medicine focus who also works on horses. Our practice includes a range of clients from many Amish dairy herds and horses to working with boarding and training stables and rural pet horses. There is a great opportunity to grow and develop with a good client base in the equine part and opportunity to grow in the dairy part. One position is a great opportunity for an equine veterinarian with a passion for clients and horses. And a second position for both dairy and equine. The practice also has both small and large dairy farms with an excellent opportunity to practice across a broad range of species, with small ruminant and porcine clients also. While we would prefer an experienced veterinarian, new graduates are welcome.
