Compassionate Care Animal Hospital is a privately owned practice searching for a full-time associate veterinarian to join our team! We are a small animal general practice located in a growing suburb of Columbus, Ohio that prides itself on providing excellent care for our patients and excellent communication and education to our clients. We treat our clients with compassion and respect and as a result, we have an amazing reputation in our community with very loyal clients. Our facility is newly built and well-equipped with digital radiology, dental radiology, class IV laser therapy, anesthetic monitoring, and in-house laboratory. We have an amazing support staff that includes 3 RVTs. There are several excellent referral centers nearby who are great resources. We also work with a mobile internist who performs ultrasounds in house and consults with us on cases. We strive to help our staff maintain a good work/life balance. We are not open on the weekends so that all our staff can enjoy two days off in a row to spend time with their families. Your work week will consist of working four days a week, with an average of 42 hours a week. We are rarely held over in the evenings and most days you can enjoy your lunch! We love taking care of our patients, but believe that we can’t do that unless we take care of ourselves as well. Our ideal candidate will have strong surgical skills, experience in dentistry or the desire to learn, and have excellent communication skills.
